"Kynance Cove"
Kynance Coves a glister
With shining sea and sand
Black ruby rocks stand bolster
To Cornwall's gorsier land
Ron Blundell
"The lake at Clowance"
The rippled silver dappled lake
The gentle lapping shore
Reflected branches overhead
Can one expect much more?

"Cornwall Holidays"
We have seen the sandy coves
And a sea that rocks and rolls
And sea grey seals that loll far down below
We have seen the daffodiles and even smelt the scillies
Amongst the pongs of agricultural sprays
There are lots of things to remember
When we lie down to our slumber
There's golden sandy beaches and possibilities of peaches
Of long awaited lunches, of biscuits, beer and brunches.

Winter on Mounts Bay
The silver light of Winter
Shines on a sullen sea
The rainstorm in the distance
Is not so far from me
The mount stands grey and silent
The boat is heaven sent
It bucks and dives so quickly
It really should be bent.
The pasties for our dinner
Sit warm upon our knees
The seagulls and the seaweed
The standing waves that freeze.
The winding stream is rushing
To that eternal shore
Where sand and shingle mingle
To more and more and more.
The sun and rain now jostle
To get the upper hand
A rainbow in the making
Glistens on the sand.
The bow is arching steeply
Behind a mount of gold
The gentle breath of winter
Hints a little of the cold.
